All updates in August
The changes you’ll notice in the Toku app this month, by release date.
- Employment:Document lists now show each contract's signing status, such as Awaiting signature or Signed, on the Documents pages, profiles and CSV export.
- Employment:Admins can now connect more than one Airwallex account for payouts, each with its own name, and choose a default.
- Employment:Admins can now remove someone from onboarding when their only invoices are drafts; those drafts are cancelled automatically.
- Token Grants:The Investment Types page now uses the same table design as the rest of the app, with a clearer page heading.
- Employment:Employees and admins now get work authorization expiry reminders six, three and one month ahead, then every two weeks until it's renewed.
- All products:Payment Methods now explains what each payment provider does and what access you need before you connect it.
- Employment:When an invoice's token has no matching payout wallet, contractors now see which token and network is missing and a link to add one.
- Employment:Admins can now be given direct reports and chosen as an employee's manager, from Team & Permissions or the employee's profile.
- Employment:Ending a contractor's engagement now uses a shorter form that asks only questions relevant to contractors.
- Employment:Admins can now reach Networks & Tokens from the main navigation to manage the payout networks and tokens they use.
- Token Grants:The Investment Details page now uses the same table design as the rest of the app, with a cleaner page heading.
- Token Grants:The Upcoming Events, option exercise requests and vesting template creation pages have a refreshed look.
- Employment:Profiles now show base pay right next to the compensation editor that changes it.
- Employment:Payslips now have column filters, and you can export your full payment history as a CSV.
- Token Grants:Admins can now send activation invitations to several people at once from the People Directory.
- Token Grants:Admins can now add Filecoin (FIL) as a payment method.
- Employment:The Onboarding page now flags new hires whose start date is less than five working days away.
- Employment:Onboarding now collects national ID numbers for employees in Switzerland, Poland, Ireland, Spain and Israel.
- Employment:The activity feed now shows what changed in an approved or rejected request, with the old and new values.
- Employment:Admins can now filter HRIS reports to the rows and columns they need, such as one country with chosen fields.
- Stablecoin Payroll:Info banners across Stablecoin Payroll screens now use a refreshed, more consistent design.
- All products:The Change Product button in the left navigation has a cleaner look.
- Employment:Team & Permissions now has consistent row actions, a clearer Actions column and a way to add approvers directly.
- Employment:When admins open an employee's onboarding, it now shows the employee's name.
- Employment:Admins can now pay additional compensation, such as bonuses, in one of your organization's tokens, and payroll pages show the chosen token.
- Employment:Admins can now set an employee's base salary in one of your organization's tokens when adding, editing or importing employees.
- Employment:The tax and national ID on a profile's Tax Information card can now be added or updated.
- Employment:Profile documents are now listed newest first.
- Employment:When uploading a document, the form now tells you whether company admins can open it, based on the category you choose.
- Employment:Employees can now add a bank account in any country during onboarding.
- Stablecoin Payroll:The payroll CSV upload has a cleaner drop zone, clearer file type and size errors, and improved data review tables.
- Stablecoin Payroll:The Add Payroll Token dialog has a cleaner, more consistent look.
- Stablecoin Payroll:Wallets waiting on your confirmation are now labeled "Action needed", with guidance pointing you to the Verify step.
- Stablecoin Payroll:The Networks & Stablecoins page and Paycheck Allocation table have a cleaner, more consistent look.
- All products:The Payment Methods page now shows color-coded status for pending wallets and banks, plus a Verify button for wallets awaiting confirmation.
- Employment:Wallet address tags on the Wallets page now fit their content.
- Employment:The Additional Compensation "Change salary" button now matches the Edit links on other profile cards.
- Stablecoin Payroll:The payroll upload and token selection dialogs have a cleaner layout, with a new drop zone and dropdowns.
- Employment:Admins can now choose who is notified when employees submit requests, including whether admins are notified alongside the employee's manager.
- Employment:Approvers and admins now review team time-off requests in a "Team requests" tab on the My Time Off page.
- Employment:Admins can turn on approval activity updates, so other admins are notified in-app and in their daily digest when requests are approved or rejected.
- Employment:The Approvers list in Team & Permissions is now searchable and shows each person's department and number of direct reports.
- Employment:Admins can now download a contractor invoice as a document straight from the invoices list.
- Employment:Admins can now make managers Approvers, who review and act on requests from their own team in Team & Permissions.
- Stablecoin Payroll:Employee Management and Wallet Management now appear in the main navigation, so they're quicker to find.
- Employment:Additional compensation now has a Payment Type selector, so admins can choose cash or a token.
- Stablecoin Payroll:My Profile has a refreshed design that matches the rest of the Toku app.
- Employment:The Documents page now shows who can see each document, with clearly labeled icons for employees and admins.
- All products:External wallets now show a wallet icon on the Wallets tab.
- Employment:Your profile card now shows a "+N" badge when you have more wallets than fit on the card.
- Token Grants:When you create grants by manual entry, the first row now appears immediately.
- Employment:Profile activity history now shows who made each change.
- Employment:Admins can now delete an uploaded document from an employee's or contractor's profile.
- Employment:Clicking the termination date field now opens a calendar picker.
